Welcome to the Alhaja universe, the cult of beautiful things.
Alhaja was born from the union of two sisters from another life: María and Irene. After more than 15 years of shared experience, they learn and evolve together, managing to cover every area of the project.
Thanks to their background in purchasing and design, they decided to give life to their most personal dream; a project that starts in 2020. Alhaja, which comes from Arabic and means ‘jewel’ or ‘precious ornament’, finds its essence in nature, history, traditions and folklore of ancient cultures with a clear connection to its Spanish roots.
Alhaja is a way of seeing the world and being fascinated by the beauty and folklore that surrounds us. Its starting point is respect for the planet, committing itself to sustainable consumption and production. To this end, it makes use of recyclable materials and shows its constant support for the local economy and excellence. Research in the field of sustainability, together with design, is one of Alhaja's most important areas. They work with Spanish factories that are certified members of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) and are committed to the traceability of all materials used, as well as the recycling process of the raw material.
